2. Hosting, delivery and security
The site is delivered using Cloudflare services. In normal web operation, technical data such as IP address, requested files/URLs, date and time, browser/device information and security information can be processed to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep it secure. Cloudflare Turnstile is used when forms are submitted to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable and secure operation). To the extent information is stored on or read from your device solely where technically necessary to provide the requested service or security function, § 25(2) TDDDG may apply.
3. Contact, newsletter, loops and free-pack forms
Forms on this site are provided through MailerLite. Depending on the form, the data can include your email address, name, message, newsletter/free-pack signup information and technical submission information. The data is used to answer messages, deliver requested downloads/updates and manage subscriptions.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where you subscribe or otherwise consent; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to respond to a request connected with a possible or existing contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for ordinary communication. You can withdraw consent for future processing at any time, including by unsubscribing from emails.
4. Public messages
If you actively choose the “make it public” option in the Contact form, your submitted name and message are stored in Supabase and displayed on the public board. A masked version of your email address is displayed; the complete email address is stored for the submission but is not intentionally shown publicly.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your choice to publish). You may request removal by emailing support@iloveyoumiqo.com.
5. Drawings and gallery
When you submit a drawing, the image and any optional author name are uploaded to Supabase for moderation and, if approved, public display in the gallery. Uploaded drawing backgrounds become part of the submitted image. Drawings may remain stored until they are rejected, removed, or no longer needed for the gallery.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for optional personal data and the requested publication; where necessary to operate the submission/gallery feature, Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR may also apply.
6. Projects, reactions and local anti-duplicate identifier
Projects and public reactions are stored through Supabase. To reduce duplicate reaction spam, the browser creates a random local identifier and stores reaction flags in localStorage; the identifier can also be sent with a reaction to Supabase. It is not intended to identify you by name.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (integrity of the reaction system). Device storage used solely to provide this requested functionality may fall under § 25(2) TDDDG.
7. Local browser storage
Some settings are stored only in your browser so the site can remember choices you make. This includes CRT on/off state, selected/personal wallpapers, drawing-background settings, reaction flags and temporary session state. Custom wallpapers are stored locally in IndexedDB and are not uploaded by that feature. Audio loaded into the sampler is processed locally in the browser and is not uploaded by the sampler.
You can remove this data by using the relevant reset/delete controls or by clearing this site's browser data.
8. External media and outbound services
Instagram/Meta content on this site is configured as click-to-load: your browser connects to Instagram only after you choose to load that content. Project posts may also contain other external media. The BeatStars player is loaded when you open the Beats window, and Store links can take you to Payhip. When you load or visit third-party content, that provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
Where external content is loaded based on your choice, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is required, or Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR where the connection is necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested.
9. Service providers and international transfers
Recipients/categories of recipients can include Cloudflare (hosting/security), Supabase (database/storage/auth), MailerLite (forms/email delivery) and, when you choose to load or visit them, Meta/Instagram, BeatStars, Payhip and other linked services. Depending on the provider and processing route, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must rely on a valid GDPR transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
10. Storage periods
Data is kept only as long as required for the relevant purpose, legal obligations, security, or establishment/exercise/defence of legal claims. Newsletter data is normally kept until you unsubscribe or the data is no longer needed, subject to any legally required evidence/retention. Public submissions may remain online until removal, moderation deletion, or the end of the relevant feature.
11. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

Submission Rules
These rules apply when you submit a drawing for the gallery or choose to publish a message on the public board.
1. You must have the rights to submit it
You may submit only content that you created yourself or that you otherwise have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and publish. Do not upload copyrighted images, private photos, logos, artwork or other material belonging to somebody else unless you have permission.
2. Keep other people's private information out
Do not submit private/confidential information, personal contact details, addresses or other personal data about another person without a lawful reason and the necessary permission.
3. Prohibited content
Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory/hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, fraudulent, malicious, or intended to expose another person's private information.
4. Gallery licence
You keep ownership of your drawing. By submitting it, you grant the site operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, technically reproduce, resize/compress, create thumbnails of, and publicly display the submission as part of iloveyoumiqo.com and its gallery. This licence is limited to operating, presenting and technically maintaining the website/gallery. Separate permission is required to use your artwork for unrelated commercial products or advertising outside that context.
5. Public messages
If you select “make it public”, you ask the site to display your message publicly. Your submitted name/message and a masked version of your email may be visible to visitors. Do not put information in the message that you do not want published.
6. Moderation
Submissions may be reviewed before publication. The site operator may reject, hide or remove content that violates these rules, creates legal/security risk, is spam, or is not suitable for the gallery/community. Submission does not guarantee publication.
7. Removal and reports
To request removal of your own submission, or to report content that you believe is unlawful or infringes your rights, email support@iloveyoumiqo.com. Include enough information to identify the content (for example the gallery item, project/message, URL or screenshot) and explain the reason for the request/report.
8. Privacy
Personal data connected with submissions is handled as described in the Privacy notice.
